Although I absolutely adore makeup, skincare is my real love. I can't exactly say why this is- I think most of the reason derives from the impact that severe acne had on my life as a young teenager. Since about 11 or 12, I've been obsessed with how the skin works and how one can change its appearance and condition. So when I see an interesting skincare product, it's unlikely I can pass it by.

Travel: Traveling Light(er)

If you're lucky enough to travel frequently, whether that's abroad, to a friends or short 'staycations', you'll know it can be difficult and just plain annoying to pack. Reducing everything you need plus everything you want as well as everything you know-you-shouldn't-take-but-will-take-anyway (for me, that's usually a ridiculous pair of shoes I never wear at home, let alone when I'm away) can be a difficult task. As I'm going away to Spain tomorrow with my best friend for two weeks, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to go into detail about ways to reduce your luggage; starting with beauty products (make up will come at a later date, today I'm focusing on skincare and toiletries).
